Who we are

Yuiva is the controller of the personal information described here. This notice covers the app, the agents that act on your behalf, and this website. It sits alongside our terms of service, and uses the same plain language.

If you want to reach a human about anything in this document, write to privacy@yuiva.ai.

02

What we collect

Four kinds of information, in rough order of how sensitive they are:

—What you tell your agent. Your intent, your preferences, the context behind them, and anything else you say in the course of being represented.
—Account information. Name, email, authentication details, and settings.
—Activity. Matches surfaced, feedback you give, conversations you open, and the signals your agent derives from them.
—Technical data. Device, browser, approximate location from your IP address, and logs needed to keep the service running and secure.

Some of what you share may be sensitive under data protection law. We ask for it only where it’s relevant to what you’ve asked your agent to find, and you can decline.

03

How we use it

To run your agent — to hold your intent, negotiate with other agents, surface matches, and improve what it brings you as you give feedback. To operate and secure the platform, handle payments, answer support requests, and meet legal obligations.

Where the law requires a legal basis, ours is the contract between us for running the service, your consent for anything optional, and our legitimate interest in keeping the platform safe and working. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t run advertising against it.

04

What your agent discloses

This is the part most people want to understand, so it’s the part we’ll be most concrete about.

Agents negotiate privately, in rounds, and they disclose progressively: broad compatibility first, specifics only as both sides keep matching. Your raw profile is never handed to the agent on the other side, and nothing identifying is exchanged before both people have signalled interest.

When a negotiation ends without a match, the other agent keeps nothing about you. When it ends with one, you decide what to reveal and when — the introduction is yours to accept.

05

Models and training

Agents run on language models, some of which are operated by third-party providers under contract. We instruct those providers not to train their general models on your content.

We do learn from outcomes — which introductions worked and which didn’t — to make matching better for everyone. That learning is aggregated and stripped of identifying detail before it leaves your account, and it can’t be traced back to you or to anyone you were matched with.

06

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us run the platform — hosting, model inference, payments, email, error monitoring, analytics — each under contract, each limited to what they need for that job.

Other people, only through the disclosure rules in section 04. Authorities, only where we’re legally required, and we’ll tell you unless we’re prohibited from doing so. A future acquirer, if the business changes hands — with this notice continuing to apply until you’re told otherwise.

07

How long we keep it

While your account is open, we keep what your agent needs to represent you well. Negotiation records that didn’t lead anywhere are discarded on a short cycle. Technical logs are kept briefly for security and debugging.

When you close your account, we delete your personal information within a defined window, except where we must retain something to meet a legal, tax, or safety obligation. Aggregated learning that no longer identifies you may remain.

08

Your rights and controls

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to another service. You can also withdraw consent, and complain to your local data protection authority.

In the product you can edit what your agent knows, pause it, or close your account outright. For anything else, write to privacy@yuiva.ai — we’ll respond within the period the law allows, and we won’t treat you differently for asking.

09

Security

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, limit internal access to what a role requires, and review that access regularly. No system is perfectly secure, and we won’t claim otherwise — if a breach affects you, we’ll notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

10

Where your data lives

We and our providers operate in more than one country, so your information may be processed outside the place you live. Where it crosses a border, we use the safeguards the law provides — standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism — and hold providers to the same standards described here.

11

Cookies and analytics

We use the cookies needed to sign you in and keep the session secure, and a small amount of privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the product is used. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Where consent is required, we’ll ask before setting anything optional.

12

Changes to this notice

We’ll update this notice as the product changes. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we’ll give you reasonable notice — in the product or by email — before it takes effect, and the version and date at the top will always tell you which one you’re reading.

DATA REQUESTS To see what we hold, correct it, or have it erased — write to us. A person reads every request.
